Terms of use

MrsMalvic is a free Twitch chat bot, run by one person as a side project. These terms apply once you add it to a channel or use its commands in someone else's. If they don't suit you, don't do either.

Stay inside Twitch's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Don't use the bot to harass people, to make or spread illegal content, to spam other services through it, or to hammer its rate limits and quotas. Only add it to a channel you actually control.

Currency, points and scores in the games are worth nothing. You can't buy them, you're not owed them, and they can be reset.

The bot comes as-is. Uptime isn't guaranteed, accuracy isn't either, and any given command might stop existing. Much of what it says arrives from a third-party API or a language model, so it can simply be wrong, and nothing it outputs is advice. Balances, stats, quotes and settings can all be lost to an outage or a mistake. Backups do get taken, but on no schedule you can rely on, and you can't demand a restore from them.

So far as the law allows, the operator isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the bot or this site.

Remove bot from channel is what actually takes it out of your chat, and you can do that whenever you like. Disconnecting the app in your Twitch connection settings withdraws this site's access to your account, which is worth doing as well, but by itself it leaves the bot sitting in chat.

The bot also removes itself from a channel where it gets banned, or where Twitch suspends the channel. For abuse, or for breaking these terms, the operator may pull it out of a channel or block an account from using it, usually without warning.
